Digital Event News will be attending this week’s A-Livex exhibition at the Royal Lancaster, London alongside some of the UK’s leading digital event agencies and organisers.
A-Livex takes place on 20 May and will be the first non-pilot, in-person event to be held since restrictions in England were lifted on 17 May.
An innovative format will see exhibitors occupy hotel bedrooms, where visitors will be enjoy safe, pre-booked meetings.
So far, exhibition organisers from the likes of Informa Markets, Reed Exhibitions, Easyfairs, Clarion and CloserStill are among the 200 already registered attendees. They will be joined by organisers from experiential and digital events agencies including MCI, Cheerful TwentyFirst, Inntel, and DRPG.
Mash Media’s managing director, Julian Agostini, who will be chairing the content sessions, said he was excited for the return of live events.
“Not only are we entering a new era in which we are more cohesive as an industry, but this event format, in which the hotel rooms will act as exhibitor stands, will serve as an example to inspire people to think outside the box,” he said. “I’d love to see as many of you there as possible. We have 300 spaces, and most are taken. This is your industry, so come and support it.”
