Forum Events & Media Group is celebrating a successful debut of its Event Technology Forum, which saw over 300 meetings take place virtually between buyers and suppliers across two mornings on 25 and 26 May.
Virtual events solutions specialist, BeaconLive described the event as, “a simple and cost-effective way to virtually meet with key buyers”. While 3D virtual and hybrid platform provider Vii Events also hailed the Event Technology Forum as, “a great opportunity to connect with key personnel”.
Forum Events & Media Group MD Sarah Beal said: “We’re delighted with the feedback we’ve received from our attendees at the Event Technology Forum. Our software is bespoke to our business model and it was great to hear how well it operated from other event technology suppliers.
“Over 70% of our suppliers believe that they will do business with more than three potential buyers as a result of attending the Event Technology Forum.”
Forum Events & Media Group pioneered the concept of pre-arranged face-to-face meeting events within the events sector itself. The Event Organisers Summit launched in 2007 and has been responsible for creating thousands of business relationships between corporate and agency players and event industry suppliers.
Unable to hold live events since last year, Forum Events pivoted to virtual by adapting its proprietary matching software to facilitate virtual video meetings.
The next virtual Events Technology Forum will be held from 25- 26 May 2022, while the Event Technology Forum LIVE will take place with the Event Organisers Summit on 18 and 19 October.
