Eventopedia, an event tech company, has rebranded as virtuall, a name it says better represents what it offers. The company’s event planning and venue finding product will retain the name Eventopedia.
CEO Toby Heelis said: “Following a period of rapid expansion, and the creation of a more diverse product portfolio across a wider variety of industry sectors, we wanted a name that better reflects our current vision.”
Recognised in the SVC2UK (Silicon Valley Comes to the UK) Top 50 fastest growing UK start up list in 2020, virtuall aims to transform the sales and marketing of spaces and places with what it says is a pandemic-proof, net zero venue exploration platform, Explore.
Explore brings a location or venue to the client with no travel required and sacrificing none of the impact of a real life visit.
The company says that the product is being used by clients including Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Hilton Hotels, IHG, and Wembley Stadium.
Kristi Kosmata, director sales and marketing Hyatt Regency Bellevue, describes Explore as “a game-changer” for her sales team.
New product development at virtuall includes the hybrid events platform govirtual, currently being piloted with clients.
COO Alan Newton says: “We enable people to do things they couldn’t do before. To explore, to connect, to journey without restriction. The products we create are simple to use, but are unique in their ability to improve industries and solve their problems.”
virtuall was founded (as Eventopedia UK Ltd) in 2014 by current CEO Toby Heelis and COO Alan Newton, and the company has expanded operations to Asia and the US.
