Commenting on the awards, Sofoluke said: “We are extremely excited to bring back the Black Tech Achievement Awards this year. The tech landscape still has a long way to go in terms of diversity and the underrepresentation of Black professionals within this sector is still a huge issue.
“We hope the Black Tech Achievement Awards can be a catalyst in highlighting Black role models and innovators within the industry and ultimately help to map out a more diverse, inclusive and therefore innovative landscape.”
